And since I can’t run the page alone — kasi tao lang ako na namamaga din ang mga daliri kakafacebook. Char — I brought people together then and now to specifically help me out and continue the Molongski Movement na patuloy paglaki.

People usually volunteer na maging part ng Molongski Team, ng crew, maging intern, maging julalay or kung ano pa man — but I rarely pick from those.

I pick wildflowers and allow them to grow in places people, or kahit sila mismo, think they never would. And I know, and they know this in their heart of hearts, each of the members ng SMM Batallion eh nag-grow.

Bakit nga ba SMM Batallion. Ewan ko sa mga yan. The chaka name already gives you an idea how well theyre well-rounded individuals — kaya, among other things, maging jologs, jejemon, clowns at maging deep.

It’s not sexy maging part ng team that closely work with me in helping you guys. People see it as gaining power and influence over others, but it’s really giving them responsilibilities na di naman nila kailangan kunin kasi (and I never fail to mention this) wala namang bayad or sahod at all, pero kinukuha pa din nila — kasi siraulo din sila kagaya ko. No one in their sane mind will do what I do. No one on their sane mind will do what they do. And it’s certain certain kind of beautiful sayad that has brought us together, para sa inyo. Lakas makadrama at makagrandstanding eh noh. 😅 Pero kung wala ang group effort, wala kayong mga GCs, Groups at kung anu pa man para tambayan at maging source of resource.

Andami ko na sinabi pero di pa pala ako nag-thank you. 😅

Last year nagpa-canvas ako kay Tita Beauty ng Funko Pop para sa Molongski. Kala ko mura, para ibenta sana na parang collector’s item, kasi syempre mukha akong pera. LOL eh ang mahal pala 🤦🏽‍♂️ so I put the idea sa backburner muna hanggang sa nakalimutan ko na.

Hanggang sa biglang may box na dumating sa doorstep namin mga a month ago. Galing pinas. Mukang box na may laman (malamang). Tapos deep inside nafeel kong ito nga yon. I smiled. Pero naisip ko actually baka may nadpadala ng Tuyo 😅 And voila, limited edition 1 of 1 nga ng Molongski Funko galing kay senyor mamaw @ginorbertocustoms (https://www.facebook.com/GinoRobertoCustoms)

Closing: May Your Dreams Don’t Come True

One time. Birthday ko. May inuman. Sabi mg favorite kong kainunam dati, “Pare, I wish all your dreams don’t come true.”

I was like, “Gagu ka ba? Wag ka naman ganyan? Bakit mo ba nasabi yan? Lasing ka na ba, eh puro ka lang papak ng pulutan ah.”

He goes, “Kasi pre, dreams are just exagerrations of things you already know. Ang corny naman pag ganun lang. Pano kung mas maganda at mas gusto mo pala yung mga bagay na di mo alam at di mo inaakalang darating pa?”

When I started the page late 2019, wala sa hinagap na magkaka-Funko ang Molongski. Ang priceless ng thoughtfulness at kasweetan ng SMM Batallion, and that’s just an understatement. And tama nga ang sinabi ng nakainuman ko, kaya para sa mga tao sa baba, I also hope your dreams don’t come true.
